"Rockin" Spring Break with Bucket #8!

Ryan and I packed up the kiddos and headed to Texas to visit family over spring break.  While I was out of town, I received a text from my free 'hired' help (a.k.a. DAD) who filled an entire tractor bucket of rocks ON HIS OWN! Whoa...that's like 2,000 lbs of rocks...I actually am not surprised because I think he is the hardest worker I have ever known.  I asked him if he could move the next day and his reply???

"I've never felt better!"

I am happy for him...Every time I get out there, I am reminded of how my body is not as young as it used to be...Maybe if I do this for 29 and a half more years, I'll be able to say..."I've never felt better!"  Right now, I find myself saying, "WOW, my body aches all over...I feel like I'm getting the flu!"  LOL...But, nothing's going to keep me from doing my part...I'm really getting into this gardening thing!
Dad's bucket #8 got us to a point where we could start planting something when I got back from Texas.  Here's a picture of his accomplishment right before he dumped the load of rocks in our pile...

With our smaller rocks, we determined if we raked them into rows (farming term is 'windrows') we could pick up the smaller rocks by the handful which helped speed the process up a little. See our windrows below...aren't they great? :-)
